This year marks 50 years of National NAIDOC Week celebrations, with the theme The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy honouring past achievements while embracing a bright future.
We proudly partner with Flinders University to celebrate Kaurna, Narungga and Ngarrindjeri artist, graphic designer and Flinders alumni Lawson Dodd. Drawing deeply from his First Nations heritage, Lawson blends traditional symbolism with modern design to create bold, meaningful works that speak to identity, culture, and connection to Country.
With a culturally grounded yet contemporary approach to visual storytelling, Lawson’s art comes to life in a lobby display featuring two of his works — Journey into the Heart of Knowledge and Digital Gathering. When viewed from either the left or right, each artwork come together to reveal a unified narrative.
