Hello Wine Lovers!
I recently came across J & S Fielke, and I absolutely love their wines. Elegant, structured, and full of character, speaking from the place of which they come.
The rolling hills of Adelaide offer a unique mix of microclimates, giving each vineyard its own distinctive character. J & S Fielke capture this in their wines, crafting thoughtful, expressive drops from the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale.
Jemma and Steve met while studying Oenology and Viticulture at the University of Adelaide. After gaining hands-on experience overseas, Jemma found her passion in the vineyards and Steve in the cellar. Together, they built their small but passionate operation in Lenswood, where every wine begins in the vines.
“The best wines are made with care and attention to detail in the vineyards from which they come.”
They focus on standout sites across the region—elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the cooler Adelaide Hills, and expressive Shiraz from the Vale. In the winery, wild ferments, whole bunches, and gentle oak use frame the wines without overshadowing them.
Blanc de Blancs 2023 $50
Farmed using organic practices and made in the Traditional Method, this sparkling is all about precision and poise.
Notes: Lemon zest, green apple, and citrus blossom.
Food pairing: Oysters, light seafood or a classic cheese platter.
Onkaparinga Valley Fiano 2025 $30
An aromatic, textural expression with a touch of skin contact and subtle oak.
Notes: Tropical fruit, zesty freshness, layered texture.
Food pairing: Perfect with a summer salad, BBQ prawns, or grilled chicken skewers.
Lenswood Chardonnay 2024 $40
From a high-altitude site in Lenswood, this warmer vintage showcases ripeness and depth while retaining tension.
Notes: Rich, expressive fruit framed by gentle oak spice.
Food pairing: Roast chook with crispy potatoes, creamy pasta, or even a buttery corn risotto.
Piccadilly Pinot Noir 2024 $40
Sourced from Summertown, where low yields delivered exceptional concentration.
Notes: Earthy and rounded, with bright red fruits and fine tannin.
Food pairing: Roast duck (if you’re feeling fancy), but just as good with mushroom pizza or a bowl of spaghetti bolognese.
McLaren Vale Shiraz 2024 $40
From Australia’s first Regenerative Organic Certified vineyard in Tatchatilla. A bright yet powerful take on McLaren Vale Shiraz.
Notes: Bold, juicy, and elegant, with pepper and dark berry lift.
Food pairing: Slow-cooked lamb, steak, or roasted veggies on a Sunday night.
I hope you'll enjoy these drops as much as I do! reach out to secure your favourites from J & S Fielke.
