Festival Tower Two Update
Date Published: 24th Aug 2026
Construction update: Tower Two is officially out of the ground.
Festival Tower Two has reached a major milestone, with the structure starting to take shape above Festival Plaza.
The Level 2 concrete pour is nearing completion, while the main core and jump form reaching Level 4 in preparation for the next pour.
Both Tower Crane 1 and Tower Crane 2 are now erected, supporting the increasing scale and pace of construction activity across the site.
The project has recently recorded peak numbers of 135 people onsite daily, reflecting the significant workforce currently involved in delivering the Tower.
A major milestone was also reached in concrete works, with 800m³ of concrete poured this week, bringing the total volume of concrete poured to date to 4,400m³, equivalent to almost two Olympic-sized swimming pools..
What’s next?
The next stage of construction will focus on pouring the core through to Level 5, continuing the vertical progression of the Tower. Alongside this, formwork for the superstructure will continue in preparation for the Level 3 concrete pour.
With the cranes now erected, the core progressing upwards and the superstructure taking shape, construction is continuing to build momentum as the Tower moves into its next phase.
